Boarding Kennels for Newry, Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Kilkeel & Hilltown

Frequently Asked Questions.

Q. Are your kennels licensed ?

A. Yes! We're Dept of Agriculture for N.Ireland licensed/approved.

Q. Can I see the kennels before boarding?

A. Yes. Please phone and arrange a time.      028 417 39115

Q: What must I bring with me when checking in my dog?

A. The most important item is proof of current inoculations from your vet. If we can't confirm that your dog has all the required current inoculations then we will be unable to board your dog.

Q. Do I need to supply food and bedding ?

A. No. Boarding fees are inclusive of food, heating, bedding and insurance. You are welcome to bring your pet's toys, bedding or treats that may help him or her feel more at home or food if that's what you wish.

Q. Do you charge for a cancellation?

No!    But please let us know of your decision immediately. We can then offer other customers the space, especially if it's during Easter week, July or Christmas/New Year when the kennels are usually full.

Q: Is someone there to take care of the dogs when you are not open?

A: Yes. We live on the premises. Kennels and buildings are locked and security monitored.

Q: Are the boarding quarters heated?

A: Yes; our kennels are heated (either by radiator or underfloor heating) and insulated for winter. The kennels also have good ventilation, which means they are cool for summer. Your dog's stay will be very comfortable, whatever the weather!

Q: I have two dogs. Can they stay together?

A: Yes; As long as your dogs get along together, they can share a kennel.

Q: What if there is an emergency medical problem?

A: We have excellent veterinarians in the area. Should an emergency occur then we will try to contact you, if it is possible. We will of course call out the vet if we think it necessary. We assure you that your dog will receive the best attention available. Any veterinary costs will be payable by the owner.
